Welcome! My name is Amsi (pronounced “am-see.” I know, it’s weird), and this website took me way longer to build than I care to admit.

I was born in Guatemala and moved to the States with my family when I was two years old. I feel so blessed to have always had the support from my family in everything that I’ve pursued. I grew up in a musical home where my mom loved to sing and my dad played guitar and accordion. I am a classically trained pianist and earned my degree in music business at CSUN. After college, I took time to travel which inspired a love for photography. From there, I wanted to learn more and began to dive into a whole other creative world outside of music.

Over the past seven years, I’ve had the opportunity to work and collaborate with talented photographers who I am blessed to call amazing friends. In that time, the hands-on experience has shaped my approach to storytelling. My work is driven by the genuine and intentional. Documenting moments as they unfold whether it’s your wedding day, portraits that refresh your brand, or capturing memories on an incredible adventure. Photography is a balance of embracing the unplanned and imperfect moments while working to execute your specific vision.
